I am thankful for the opportunity to serve you as your Property Appraiser. I started working in this office in 1984 under the late J.W. "Billy Martin". Mr. Martin hired me that year as agricultural appraiser. I started learning the job and was certified as a Florida Evaluator in 1987. When Mr. Martin made the decision to retire in 1988, I decided to seek election as Property Appraiser. Again, I thank you for your support in electing me to this office to serve you. I enjoy working for you.
I am a sixth generation resident of Florida and a third generation resident of Highlands County. I feel that I am part of this county and my heart is with the people who live here. I am committed to serve you to the best of my ability.
